Who is behind the Shelfie design? Jurgen Beneke is a German born former professional cyclist that relocated to the US in 1996. After the end of his active cycling career in 2000 he started renovating homes and building custom furniture. He eventually came up with the Shelfie bike storage shelf to use in his own home and received many requests for the product.
