BigRing
Adjustable Pedal Hook
The BigRing pedal hook is a horizontal bike storage system that holds the bike by the pedal with adjustable legs that have three settings. The 18, 25 or 30 degree angle allows you to put your bike is best position no matter the application.
Narrow hallways: you want to keep your bike as close to the wall as possible, adjust the legs in.
Multiple bikes: overlap and stager more bikes. Have the top bike be as close to the wall as possible (legs in) and fit the others below at 25 or 30 degree (legs out) allowing for more overlap and therefore saving wall space.
Super wide handlebars: MTB Enduro bikes or beach cruisers come with super wide bars but none of them will be too wide for the BigRing.
Adjustable for different wheel bases
Not only are the legs adjustable, but the front wheel shelf and rear wheel plate are adjustable for a change in bike length. There are six different bolt stop locations that cover everything from BMX bike to 29er MTB. Why a rear wheel plate? In the last 8 years of making and selling pedal hook systems we have yet to come across a stock bike that is heavier in the rear (more weight behind the bottom bracket) than in the front. So unless you have some bike packing racks with bags permanently on your bike, the rear wheel plates will work and give you extra coverage to keep the wall free of tire marks.
Two choices of toe gaps
Standard: 95% of pedals will fit in the standard toe gap (26mm) which was designed to work with small to medium platform and clipless pedals from Shimano and Time all the way to Speedplay and Eggbeaters.
Large: The newer style of platform pedals like the Syntace No.9, RaceFace Atlas and even some power meter pedals with encased external bearings needed a bigger gap. The large toe gap of 31mm will fit this new generation of pedals and we will keep improving on this if necessary.
You can purchase the foot plate as an individual item if you need to change it in the future. Click here for single foot plate.
